(Sec+1)^2 - tan^2
(Sec^2 + 1 +2sec) - (tan^2)
(Sec^2 + 1 +2sec) - (sec^2 +1)
Sec^2 +1 + 2sec -sec^2 -1
2sec

There fore the answer is 2secø and not 2tanø
