 \huge \sf \color{purple}{\underbrace{\color{red}{Answer}} }:

when acoustic resonance takes place , the natural frequency of the vibrating object coincides with the frequency of external periodic force. As a result, the two vibrate together and their vibrational energies and consequently , their amplitudes are added up. As resultant amplitude increases, hence loud sound is heard .
