Good morning,
The term human rights can be defined as the right to live, liberty, equality and respect for any human being. The Constitution of India has a section known as Rights and Fundamental Rights, which provides the people of the nation with their fundamental rights.
These rights are the basic human rights of every single citizen of the country, irrespective of their caste, background, religion, colour, status or sex. Between the years 1957 to 1949, these sections were vital elements that were added to the Constitution.
In India, there are namely six fundamental or human rights which are Right to Freedom, Right to equality, Right against exploitation, Right to Freedom of Religion, Culture and educational rights and Right to Constitutional Remedies.
Internationally on violation of international human rights or humanitarian laws or crimes against humanity can make the government of a country prosecute the individual, or it can be done by another country as well under the “universal jurisdiction”.
Thank you.
