ANSWER:

1.volume of each cube(a^3)=64cm^3

=>a^3=64

=>a=4cm

side of the cube=4cm

length of the resulting cube =4cm

breadth of the resulting cube =4cm

height of the resulting cube =8cm

surface area of the cuboid=2(lb+bh+lh)

=160cm^2

2.

D of hemisphere = 14cm

r = 14/2 = 7cm

CSA of hemisphere = 2πr²

= 2 x 22/7 x 7 x 7 = 44x7

= 308cm²

r = 7cm

h(total) = 13cm

h(cylinder) = 13 - radius of heisphere = 13-7 = 6cm

CSA of Cylinder = 2πrh = 2 x 22/7 x 7 x 6

= 44x6 = 264cm²

Surface area of the vessel = CSA of Hemisphere + CSA of Cyclinder

= 308+264 = 572cm²
