let the no. to be added be x

$x + \frac{8}{7}= 14$

$x = 14 -\frac{8}{7}$

$x =\frac {98-8}{7}$

$x = \frac{90}{7}$

answer :-

$\frac{90}{7}$ should be added to

$\frac{8}{7}$ to get 14
