X² + 5X + 6 = 0

X² + 2X + 3X + 6 = 0

[taking X and 3 common ]

X(X+2) +3(X+2)

(X +2) (X + 3)

if X + 2 = 0

X = -2

if X + 3 = 0

X = -3
