Step-by-step explanation:

Solution:-

x +  \frac{3}{2}  = 2

first simplify the LHS, by taking LCM and adding the 2 terms.

 \frac{x \times 2}{1 \times 2}  +  \frac{3}{2}  = 2

 \frac{2x}{2}  +  \frac{3}{2}  = 2

 \frac{2x + 3}{2}  = 2

2x + 3 = 2 \times 2

2x = 4 - 3

2x = 1 \\ x =  \frac{1}{2}

Check:-

x =  \frac{1}{2}

x +  \frac{3}{2}  = 2 \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  +  \frac{3}{2}  =  \frac{4}{2}  = 2

hence proven LHS=RHS
