1 12. A car attains a velocity of 30 ms- in 3 minute
standstill. Calculate the acceleration.

final velocity = 30 m/s

initial velocity = 0 m/s

time = 3min = 180 seconds

acceleration = finalvelocity-initialvelocity /time

= 30 - 0/180

= 30/180

= 1/6 m/s²
