दीर्घ दृष्टि दोष [hypermetropia] आँखों की समस्या है जिसमे व्यक्ति को अपने आसपास की चीजें धुंधली दिखाई देती है परंतु दूर की चीजें बिल्कुल साफ दिखायी देती है। दीर्घ दृष्टि दोष को दूर दृष्टि दोष और हाइपरमैट्रपीया आदि नामो से जाना जाता है।
दीर्घ दृष्टि दोष में साधारण लक्षण निम्नलिखित है
1. सिरदर्द होना।
2. आँखों में दर्द होना।
3. ध्यान केंद्रित ना होना।
4. पढ़ने के बाद आँखों में दर्द होना।
दीर्घ दृष्टि दोष की समस्या को दूर करने के लिए उत्तल लेंस[convex lens] का उपयोग किया जाता है।
