Because In thallophyta Bryophyta and pteridophyta cannot have well defined body they have also not contain well defined root stem and leaves they do not contain vascular bundle so it is called crytogama.but,in gymnosperms and angiosperms contain vascular bundle and they have well defined body structure so it is called phenerogems.
