(c) दाये-बाए हाथों की स्थिति के आधार पर​ (on the basis of the position of the left-right hand) -

समतल दर्पण में बनने वाला प्रतिबिम्ब पार्श्व रूप से उल्टा प्रतिबिम्ब होता है। इसका मतलब है कि बायां हाथ दर्पण में दाहिना होगा और दाहिना हाथ दर्पण में बायां हाथ होगा। (The image formed in the plane mirror is a laterally inverted image.
