Hola there,

A.P. = -8, -5, -2, 1

a = -8

d = -5 - (-8)

= 3

n = 10

an = a + (n - 1)d

a10 = -8 + (10 - 1)3

= -8 + 27

= 19. ...Ans

Hi.

The given sequence is----- {-8,-5,-2,1}
 In this sequence we can observe it is in Arithmetic Progression as the common difference (d) is same. For example----
    d = -5 - (-8)
      = -5 + 8
      = 3
also, d = 1 - (-2) 
           =  3
Also, First term (a) = -8
 nth term = 10 (given)

Using the formula---------
    T n = a + (n-1)d
      T 10      = -8 + (10-1)3
            = -8 + 9 *3
            = -8 + 27
            = 19
Thus 10th term of the given sequence is 19.
