The nth term in AP is calculated as

          tn = a + (n-1)d

 where tn = Nth Term , a = first term and d = common difference

 ( Note :  Nth Term = First Term + (Term Number - 1) * Common Difference  )

here ,

      tn = ?

      a = 5

      d = 8-5 =3

      n = 10

therefore ,

      t10 = 5 + (10 - 1)*3  = 5+9*3 = 5+27 = 32

Hence tenth term t10 = 32

Hope this helps you .

Thank You!
