The 12th term of the AP would be 14x/3.

Given

  • A.P
  • x, 4x/3,5x/3,2x....

To find

  • 12 term of an A.P

Solution

we are provided with an ap and I asked to find the 12th the term of the arithmetic progression

first we have to find the common difference of the arithmetic progression

d = 4x/3 - x

or, d = (4x-3x)/3

or, d = x/3

12th term of the arithmetic progression,

an = a + (n-1)d

or, a_12 = x + (12-1)x/3

or, a_12 = x + 11x/3

or, a_12 = (3x+ 11x)/3

or, a_12 = 14x/3

Therefore, the 12th term of the AP would be 14x/3.
