Explanation:

It is/has been 10 years since we have seen/saw each other.

Hello, everyone.

Please help me to find out the differences in the following 4 sentences.

Which one is the most natural way to say?

Thanks. : D

1) It has been 10 years since we have seen each other.

(I think this one is the most correct one among the sentences.)

2) It has been 10 years since we saw each other.

(In this sentece, I think I must add a particular time, place or acting to complete this sentence, like "last time", "in this place", "dancing", etc. - I remember the last time we saw each other./I remember a particular time we saw each other in this place./I remember a particular time we saw each other dancing, but it was a long time ago.)

3) It is 10 years since we have seen each other.

(What's the difference between "No.1"and "No.3"?)

4) It is 10 years since we saw each other (last time/in this place...).
