Let x-1 = 0

x = 1

Now, put x = 1 in the above polynomial.

By using remainder theorem :

(1)³+(1)²+(1)+1

= 1+1+1+1

= 4 ( Required Remainder )

By splitting middle term,

x²+2√3x+√3x+6

x(x+2√3)+√3(x+2√3)

(x+√3)(x+2√3) [Required Factors]
