The height of water level in cylindrical vessel is 1.5 cm

Solution:

The 3/4th part of a conical vessel of radius 5 cm and 24 cm is full of water

Conical part:

radius = 5 cm

height = 24 cm

The water is poured into a cylindrical vessel with radius 10 cm

To find: height of water level in cylindrical vessel

Let "H" be the height of water level in cylindrical vessel

Therefore,

3/4 volume of cone = volume of cylinder

Which means,

\frac{3}{4} \times \frac{1}{3} \times \pi r^2 \times h = \pi r^2 \times H\\\\\frac{1}{4} \times 5^2 \times 24 = 10^2 \times H\\\\25 \times 6 = 100 \times H\\\\H = \frac{150}{100}\\\\H = 1.5

Thus, height of water level in cylindrical vessel is 1.5 cm
