The 4d and 5d series of transtition elements have greater enthalpy of atomisation than 3d series of elements WHY?

The enthalpy of atomization of 4d and 5d series is higher as compared to 3d series due to small size of 4d and 5d series elements due to poor shielding effect of f-orbitals.
