it is easy. if a bike covers 55.3 km distance in 1 litre petrol and we have to find how much distance it will cover in 10 liters of petrol so just we have to multiply  55.3 with 10 because 55.3 km is the distance covered in one litre petrol and it asked for further distance it will cover with 10 liters petrol.

if it was given that how much will it cover in 2 liter petrol then we just have to multiply 55.3km to 2 and so on
