Hi ,

Let r is the common ratio of the

given G.P

First term = a = -3

Fourth term = a4 = ar³

Second term = a2 = ar

According to to the problem given ,

a4 = ( a2 )²

ar³ = ( ar )²

ar³ = a² r²

r³/ r² = a² / a

r = a = - 3

Therefore ,

Seventh term = a7

= ar^6

= ( - 3 ) ( -3 )^6

= ( - 3 )^7

I hope this helps you.
