solving we get.....
a+3d=10..........eq I
a=10-3d
Putting the value of 'a' from eqI in eqII we get.....
(a+10d) = 1+ 3(a+3d)
a+10d = 1+ 3a+9d
a+10d-3a-9d = 1
-2a+1d =1
-2 (10-3d)+1d =1
-20+6d+1d =1
7d=1+20
7d =21
d=3
putting 'd' value in eq I we get
a= 10-3d
a=10-9
a=1
