the 4th term of an ap is zero prove that the 25th term of the ap is 3 times of its 11th
term

A + 3D = 0


A = -3D -------(1)



To prove:-


25th term = 3 ( 11th term )



A + 24D = 3 ( A + 10D )---------(2)



Putting the value of A in equation (2) we get,



A + 24D = 3 ( A + 10D )


-3D + 24D = 3 ( -3D + 10D)



21D = 3 ( 7D)


21D = 21D..... PROVED....



Hence,


25th term of an AP is Equal to 3 times it's 11th term.
