RMS velocity=√3RT÷M

RMS directly proportional to√T

rms1÷rms2=√1÷√3

increase in RMS velocity is rms2-rms1

√1=1

√3=1.732

rms2-rms1=√3-√1

1.732-1=0.732

increase in RMS velocity is 0.732
