the acceleration due to gravity at the poles is maximum cause here distances between the object and the earth is equal to radius of earth .how.explain????

'g' is maximum at poles because the formula for g = GMm/r^2 so according to formula if the distance between the centre of a body to the earth will increase then the value of 'g' will also increase.
