The acidity of formic acid is more than acetic acid. Explain.

Explanation:

Acetic acid contains an electron donating methyl group. It Destabilise the conjugate base of acetic acid. Formic acid has no such electron donating group and is stronger acid than acetic acid.

Therefore formic acid is more powerful than acetic acid.
