The action of nitric acid on chalk is given by the following eqn CaCo3 +2HNO3 —>Ca (NO3) 2 +Co2 +H2O Calculate (a) the weight of anhydrous calcium nitrate formed from 15g of chalk. (b) the weight of nitric acid needed to dissolve 15 g of chalk.​
