The adjacent angles in a parallelogram are x and 2x find the measures

Answer:

If one side is x the opposite one will also be x

Similarly 2x apposite will be 2x

Find the perimeter of the parallelogram

=6x

Find the area of the parallelogram

Then equate them in order to get the value of x

Then substitute the value of x in both the sides

You will get your answer

According to question,

Adjacent angles in ||gm are X and 2x

And opposite angles are also X and 2x.

Therefore by Angle sum property,

(X + 2x) + (X + 2x) = 360°

3x + 3x = 360°

6x = 360°

X = 360/6 =60°

Therefore all angles are

x = 60° , x' = 60° ( x' is opposite angle )

2x = 2 × 60 = 120°

2x' = 120° ( 2x' is opposite angle )
