the perpendicular distance between the larger sides can be found by taking help of it's area
area of parallelogram=base*height=24*12=288cm^2
let distance between longer sides equal to x
then it's area will also be equal to 30*x
so 288=30*x
288/30=x
so x=9.6 cm
