Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let’s side be 3x and 4x

perimeter = l x b

420=3x*4x

420=12x

420/12=x

7/2=x

3x=3*7/2=21/2=10.5 cm

4x=4*7/2=14cm

Given :

⬤ Adjacent Sides of a Parallelogram are in the Ratio 3:4 .

⬤ Perimeter of Parallelogram is 420 cm.

To Find :

⬤ Measure of each side of Parallelogram .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Perimeter \: of \: Parallelogram = 2({Side}_{1} + {Side}_{2}}\:]

Solution :

Let :

  • First Sides of Parallelogram be 3x.
  • Second Side of Parallelogram be 4x.

According to the Formula :-

420 = 2 (Side₁ + Side₂)

420 = 2 (3x + 4x)

420 = 6x + 8x

420 = 14x

420/14 = x

30 = x

Therefore , The Value of x is 30 .

Hence ,

First Side of Parallelogram = 3x

= 3(30)

= 90

Second Side of Parallelogram = 4x

= 4(30)

= 120

Therefore , Length of two Sides of Parallelogram are 90 cm and 120 cm .

Check :

420 = 2(90 + 120)

420 = 180 + 240

420 = 420

Hence Checked.
