perimeter is 90 cm
let breadth be 4x and height be 5x
so 2(4x+5x)=90
or 18x=90
or x= 5cm
so
4x=4*5=20cm
5x=5*5=25cm

Given - Ratio and perimeter

Find - Length and breadth

Solution - The length and breadth of the parallelogram are 20 centimetres and 25 centimetres.

Let the length and breadth of the parallelogram be 4x and 5x.

Now, the perimeter of the rectangle is given by the formula - 2(length + breadth)

Keep the values in the formula to find the length and breadth of the parallelogram.

2(4x + 5x) = 90

2*9x = 90

18x = 90

x = 5

So, the length of the parallelogram = 4x

Length of parallelogram = 4*5

Length of parallelogram = 20 centimetres

And the breadth of parallelogram = 5x

The breadth of parallelogram = 5*5

The breadth of parallelogram = 25 centimetres

Hence, the length and breadth of the parallelogram are 20 centimetres and 25 centimetres.
