the adjacent sides of a parallelogram are in the ratio 5 ratio 3 if the longer of the two sides is 7.5 cm find the perimeter of the parallelogram

let \: y \: is \: the \: another \: side \: of \: the \: given \: parallelogram \\  \\ therefore \: according \: to \: queation \\  \\  \frac{5}{3}  =  \frac{7.5}{y}  \\  \\  y=  \frac{7.5 \times 3}{5}  \\  \\ y =  \frac{1.5 \times 3}{1}  \\  \\ y = 4.5 \: cm \\  \\  \\ therefore \: perimeter \: of \: the \: parallelogram \\  \\  = sum \: of \: all \: sides \: of \: the \: parallelogram \\  \\  = 7.5 + 7.5 + 4.5 + 4.5 \\  \\  = 15 + 9 \\  \\  = 24 \: cm
