The adjacent sides of a parallelogram r in the ratio 3:7 and its perimeter is 100 cm . Find the sides of the parallelogram.

Let the common ratio of the sides be x. then the sides will be 3x, 7x,3x, and 7x.

and we know that perimeter is the sum of all the sides

so, 3x+7x+3x+7x = 100

20x = 100

x= 100/20 = 5 cm

So the sides are : 3*5=15cm

7*5=35 cm

And since opposite sides of parallelogram are equal the other two sides will also be 15 and 35 cm.
