Given two adjacent sides 15 cm and 10 cm
and the distance between the longer sides equal to 6 cm.

So the area of the following parallelogram = Side × Distance between the two sides .
that's, 15 cm × 6cm
which is 90 cm²

Let the distanct between the two smaller sides be x .

So, 10 × x = 90
therefore,x = 9 cm

So the distance between the two smaller sides is 9 cm.
