Answer:The advantages of modern society

Modern society is the product of far-reaching human development. “During the twentieth century, American life expectancy climbed from 47 years to 77, infant mortality plunged by 93% and we wiped out or gain control over diseases such as polio, typhoid, tuberculosis, and whooping cough.” Medicine has made survival easier than ever in human history. We are safer today in the modern world than we have ever been; we have armed defense and surveillance that protect against domestic threats. We have laws and and law enforcement, which help protect our rights and ensure our security. We do not worry about warring tribes in modern society. We accomplish more than ever — we consume and produce more than ever. Technology has opened doors that make goods and services readily available at the click of a button. All of this makes the life of the human easier. We now have leisure time: we can go to the park, or watch football. With the steady flow of global communication, we are constantly widening our perspective. The mass of information on the internet makes everyone more educated, which leads to even more development. We can communicate with those who are half a world away or don’t speak our language. Modern society has provided us the time and resources to create amazing literature, art, and revolutionary thinking that changes the world. Modern economies help everyone live — they supply services, allocate resources, and provide incomes. Market transactions are thought to make us all “better off.” It is indisputable whether or not modern society is easier than tribal society.
