Answer:

The age of father and son are 22 and 46 respectively.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the age of son be x years.

therefore present age of father = ( x + 24 ) yrs

After two years,

Sons age = ( x + 2 )

Father age = ( x + 24 ) + 2

According to the Qs :

(x + 24) + 2 = 2( x + 2 )

x +26 = 2x + 4

x = 22 .

Therefore,

Present age of son = 22 years

Present age of father = ( x + 24 ) = 46 years.
