The age of father is 20 years more than twice the age of son.If sum of their ages is 65 years, find the age of the father and son

x + (2x+ 20) = 65

=> x + 2x + 20 = 65

=> 3x = 65 - 20

=> x = 45/3

=> x = 15

So,

Son's age = 15 years

Father's age = (2x + 20) => (2×15 + 20) => 30+20 => 50 years
