Hi Shashi ,

Let f be father's present age
Let s be son's age

NOTE : " 3 years hence " means after 3 years

Given
f = 3+3s
f+3 = 2(s+3) + 13

solving
3+3s+3 = 2s +6+13
s = 13
f = 3+3s = 3+39 = 42

so their ages after 14 years are
father = f+14 = 42+14 = 56 years
son
= s+14 = 13+14 = 27 years

Hope it helped.
Let me know if any doubts.
Cheers !!!
