• SOLUTION:-

Let the age of Hari be 5x and Hary be 7x.

Fours years from now their age ratio will be 3:4.

According to the question,

$\large{\sf{\huge{\frac{5x+4}{7x+4}=\frac{3}{4}}}}$

By doing cross multiplication,

$\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{20x+16=21x+12}}$

$\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{16-12=21x-20x}}$

$\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{4=x}}$

$\large\therefore\boxed{\sf{x=4}}$

So,

Their present ages are:-

5x=5×4=20 years

7x=7×4=28 years
