Let the present age of Sudha be 3x and Mona be 4x

**According to the given condition**

  • After five years ago
  • Sudha's age = (3x - 5)
  • Mona's age = (4x - 5)

→ 3x - 5/4x - 5 = 2/3

→ 3(3x - 5) = 2(4x - 5)

→ 9x - 15 = 8x - 10

→ 9x - 8x = 15 - 10

→ x = 5

Hence,

  • Present age of Sudha = 3x = 15 years
  • Present age of Mona = 4x = 20 years

Cross Multiplication:-

Therefore,

  • Present Age of sudha = (3x) = 3 × 5 = 15 years
