LET THE PRESENT AGES OF TANAY AND VIHAAN BE 8X AND 7X.

SIX YEARS LATER,  

AGE OF TANAY = 8X+6

AGE OF VIHAAN= 7X+6

ACCORDING TO QUESTION

8X+6/ 7X+6= 10/9

9*(8X+6) =10*(7X+6)

= 72X+54= 70X+60

=72X-70X=60-54

2X= 6

X=3

THUS, THE PRESENT AGES OF TANAY AND VIHAAN ARE;

TANAY=8X=24 YRS

VIHAAN=7X=21 YRS
