let x and y be two ages..
x / y = 6 / 5 ..(.1)
x + y = 55 .... (2).
from 1 and 2....
x = 30 & y = 25...
Now let p year later their age ratio be 8 / 7 ..
30 + p / 25+ p = 8/7 .....
from above eq....
p = 10 ...
so after 10 years the ratio be 8/7......
