Answer:

14 yrs

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the present ade of A be 5x

Let the present age of B be 7x

Then the fraction of their ages will be

5x/7x

After 4 yrs,

A's age 5x+2

B's age 7x+2

Then the fraction of their ages after four yrs will be 5x+2/7x+2

ATQ,

The fraction of their ages after 4 yrs 3/4

5x+2/7x+2=3/4

4(5x+2)=3(7x+2)

20x+8=21x+6

8-6=21x-20x

2=x

x=2

Therefore ans. = 7x = 7×2 = 14

Hope this answer helps you
