Solution:-

Let the age of Aryan and Arjun be 5x and 7x respectively.

Four Years Later,

Age of Aryan = 5x + 4

Age of Arjun = 7x + 4

A.T.Q.

=) [ (5x + 4)/(7x +4) ] = 3/4

=) 4 ( 5x + 4) = 3 ( 7x + 4)

=) 20x + 16 = 21x + 12

=)21x - 20x = 16 - 12

=) x = 4

Hence,

Aryan's Age = 5x = 20 years.

Arjun's Age = 7x = 28 years.

5x+4

7x+4

according to the question..

5x+4 : 7x+4 = 3:4

5×45x+4/7x+4 = 3/4

4(5x+4) = 3(7x+4)

4=x

Aryan's age = 5×4=20 years

Arjun s age = 7×4 =28 years
