after 7years,
chinmay's age=5x+7
maulik's age=2x+7
5x+7/2x+7=4/3
3(5x+7)=4(2x+7)
15x+21=8x+28
15x-8x=28-21
7x=7
x=7/7
x=1
hence,
chinmay's age=5x=5*1=5years
maulik's age=2x=2*1=2

option b is the correct ans according to me(5years).
