the ages of hari and harry are in the ratio 5:7. four years from now the ratio of their ages will be 3:4. find their present ages?

let the age of hair be 5 y
and the age of harry be 7 y
four years hence ages are 
5 y + 4 and 7 y + 4
5 y + 4 = 3 
7 y + 4 = 4
the ages are  5 y + 4 x 4 = 20 y + 16  
                    7 y + 4 x 3 = 21 y + 12
y = 4 
hair's age is 20 yrs 
harry's age is 21 yrs

5:7 ratio are the ages of hari and harry ..
 then after four years from now the ratio of their ages will be 3:4
 it seems that their present age of hari is 5*4=20.
and the age of harry is 7*4=28.....       then their ratio 20/28=5:7.
 
then four years from now their age will be 3:4....,,, add 20+4=24
                                                                              28+4 =32...
then the ages of them are 24 and 32 ..,,, it seems that 24/32 = 3:4...,,,
