The ages of Rohit and Joy are in the ratio 7:5. Ten years hence, the ratio of their ages will be 9:5. Find their present ages.

here's ur answer....
let their ages be 7x and 5x respectively.
if 10 years from now there age will be 9x and 5x.
therefore 7x+10+5x+10=9x+5x
12x+20=14x
12x-14x=-20
-2x=-20
2x=20
x=20/2
x=10
therefore their present ages:-
Rohit=7x=7×10=70yrs
joy=5x=5×10=50yrs.
