The algebraic sum of modulus of two vectors acting at a point is 20 N. The resultant
these vectors is perpendicular to the smaller vector and has a magnitude of 10 N.if the
smaller vector is of magnitude b, then the value of b is:

As we know that

A + B = 20

let the smaller vector is B

so here we know that resultant of A and B is perpendicular to B

so we have

10^2 + B^2 = A^2

also we have

100 + B^2 = (20 - B)^2

100 + B^2 = 400 - 40 B + B^2

300 = 40 B

B = 7.5

A = 12.5
