Step-by-step explanation:

let the Base of triangle is x

then altitude is x+5

Area of triangle = 1/2 × Base × height

150cm= 1/2 × (x) ×(x+5)

300 = x^2 + 5x

x^2 + 5x - 300 = 0

x^2 + 20x - 15x - 300 = 0

x (x+20) - 15 (x+ 20) = 0

(x-15)(x-20) = 0

x = 15 , 20

If Base =15 cm then altitude =20 cm

if Base =20cm then altitude =25cn
