Given : A  rectangular turf is spread on the circular ground

rectangle = 60 m x 80 m

To Find :

the diagonal of the rectangular turf.

the radius of circular ground.

the area of rectangular ground.

area of stadium

perimeter of circle.

Solution:

rectangle is inside circle hence

Diagonal would be Diameter

Diagonal = √60² + 80² = 100 m

the diagonal of the rectangular turf. = 100 m

Diameter = 100 m

Radius = Diameter/2 = 100/2 = 50 m

the radius of circular ground. = 50 m

the area of rectangular ground. = 60 x 80 = 4800 m²

area of stadium = πr² =  π(50)² = 2500π m²

perimeter of circle. = 2πr  = 2 π (50) = 100π  m
