A tent is in the form of a cylinder of radius 2.10 m and height 4 m , surmounted by a cone of equal base and height 2.8 m. Find the capacity of the tent.

Slant height (l) of conical part = 2.8 m

Area of canvas used = CSA of conical part + CSA of cylindrical part

=πrl+2πrh

=π×2×2.8+2π×2×2.1

=2π[2.8+4.2]
